Selena Gomez has set things clear that she doesn't plan to pushing fellow Disney star Miley Cyrus out. Addressing speculation that there may be a rift between her and the "Hannah Montana" star, the 17-year-old songstress insisted that the reported feud between the two of them was a mere rumor.

Talking to U.K. newspaper Daily Mirror, the Alex Russo of "Wizards of Waverly Place" first stated, "I'm not here to replace anyone." She went on to praise the leading lady of "The Last Song", before rejecting the feud rumor. "Miley is such a sweetheart," she said. "There is no feud, there's nothing going on."

Hollywood actress Demi Moore has confirmed reports she is appearing in a new movie with Miley Cyrus. Moore, 47, was rumoured to be starring in a remake of the 2009 French film LOL (Laughing Out Loud) opposite Cyrus, 17, and she confirmed the news on Twitter.

A follower asked her what she is up to and Moore replied: 'Starting a film in July with Miley called LOL.' Asked if it's the same as the French film of the same name, she added: 'Remake with the same director.'

If the reports are true then Moore will take on the role of Cyrus' mum in the movie, which follows a 15-year-old girl who is struggling with her first broken heart and a difficult relationship with her mum.

Timeless beauty Miley Cyrus, who promised her mom that she would live at home until she was at least 20, has broken her promise and decided to move out and live on her own. Miley Ray, just 17, told People with a laugh: 'I got out of that! I'm actually buying a place. I haven't moved in yet.

I'm still reconstructing and stuff.' Tish's reaction? 'She's stoked.' Miley's new house is 'really, really close' to the family’s Toluca Lake home: 'My house is going to be gorgeous because my mom is an interior designer. It's like if your mom's a clothes designer you're always going to look great. My mom's an interior designer so my house is going to be perfect all the time.

It's going to be a really zen space. We did all these different things to make it a place that’s so chill. Like all my couches are on the floor and I have pillows on the floor. It’s just serene, like my own kind of therapy. My religion is love, so my door is always open for anyone who wants to come in. It's a just a loving place.'

Miley Cyrus has one more album for her fans before she surrenders her heart to movies.

The 17-year-old offered up some details to MTV about her upcoming album, “My new record has more of a techno vibe on some stuff. It’s fun. You know, I just want to kind of do all different types of music, same as I do with movies. I never want to get stuck in a rut and just do one thing.”

Miley continued, “My record is coming out this summer. I’m excited about that. I’m looking forward to that, and then hopefully I can continue to do more films. [The album is] a little different. It’s kind of poppier, but then it still has an edge. All of my music kind of has to. I think it’s really fun. It’s definitely a good summer CD. It’s good to blast in your car.”
