Get your tissues ready, Hannah Montana is indeed ending after a fourth season.

A rep for show runner Miley Cyrus told Access Hollywood that the most popular Disney Channel show will start shooting it’s final season on Monday, January 18.

Disney Channel Worldwide’s Adam Bonnett, senior VP of Programming shared with the NY Post, “You never know in this business . . . but right now we’re scheduled to wrap [forever] after shooting this new batch of episodes.”

The plot of the final season will mirror Miley’s own life, as her character must decided if she is going to leave her secret double life as a pop star in for the life of an everyday teen.

Late last year, Miley dished to Access‘ Billy Bush that she would always be grateful for HM: “I could never say anything bad about it because [that's] what gave me my start and it has been so amazing. It’s given me the opportunity to grow as an artist. It was really a great learning experience. But I definitely am ready to go on and do other things.”

It is reported by the Star Magazine and Celebitchy that the Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus has been advised by her deceased on-screen mom Brooke Shields to get back to college for her degrees. Brooke herself is a graduate in French literature from Princeton University.

Miley Cyrus is just 17 and is riding high on popularity charts. She is undoubtedly one of the most renowned faces of today and certainly a household name with the Hannah Montana fame.

Miley got into acting background since she was nine. She used to take acting classes in Armstrong Acting Studio. She got involved in full time acting and entertainment genres at a much young age and is now one of the most prominent Disney faces in the world!

But what about her studies? It is evident that she has not finished her academics, though she takes lessons at home-school! Probably that is the reason her on-screen mother Brooke Shields is advising her to go to college. By doing so, she might set up an example to many other young girls of her age.

For those who don’t know…Brooke took leave from her film career to finish her graduation in French literature! So, quite evident that she would have such advises for her on-screen daughter as well.

It has been announced that Twilight’s Taylor Lautner will be attending the People’s Choice Awards on Wednesday, January 6, 2010.

Taylor has been nominated for Favorite Breakout Movie Actor of the year – we really hope he wins!

Other celebrities who are expected to attend the awards ceremony include Disney’s Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato. The People’s Choice Awards will air on CBS from 9PM to 11PM EST.
