Miley Cyrus will be stopping by The Ellen DeGeneres Show in February. She, along with rest of the singers who worked on the 50th Anniversary of Amnesty International album Chimes of Freedom that features nothing but Bob Dylan covers. Along with Miley stopping by for sweeps, we will also get to hear from the judges from The Voice, Jennifer Lopez, Taylor Swift and Zac Efron. All of these stars, plus more will provide an action packed show all throughout February.

“Miley has heard about Demi’s troubles and feels really bad. She is praying for her,” a source close to Miley Cyrus tells Hollywoodlife.com.

Demi Moore may have no sympathy from estranged husband Ashton Kutcher while recovering, but at least she is in the thoughts and prays of co-star Miley. Isn’t that sweet of her?

Demi told MTV she thinks Miley is “incredibly grounded” after getting to know her while filming. In the film LOL, which comes out later this year, Miley plays a wild teen who is dumped by her boyfriend and her mother, Demi is getting over a divorce. Both of them are looking for new love and having a hard time staying close to one another.

Bob Dylan has been lauded so often as “the poet laureate of rock ‘n’ roll” that even the man himself, who for decades protested the notion that he was speaking for anything but his own musical muse, eventually caved and now incorporates the phrase into the voice-over introduction at his own concerts.

This week, a massive new four-CD tribute album, “Chimes of Freedom: The Songs of Bob Dylan Honoring 50 Years of Amnesty International,” amplifies that sentiment with recordings by 80 artists of 75 of his songs that demonstrate his influence not just on his own generation but on several succeeding ones.

The new album, which arrives Tuesday and from which proceeds will benefit Amnesty International’s ongoing efforts to free political prisoners around the world, brings together numerous unlikely musical bedfellows: It finds room for 92-year-old folk singer and political activist Pete Seeger and 19-year-old pop princess Miley Cyrus; brash punk-rock band Bad Religion and elegant jazz standard-bearer Diana Krall; indie-rock group Silversun Pickups and chamber music’s boundary-bending Kronos Quartet.

SEX And The City is coming back to TV as a prequel — and Miley Cyrus is keen on the starring role.

The Carrie Diaries will follow Carrie's teenage adventures when she moves to New York and meets future maneater, Samantha Jones. Singer Miley, who had a cameo role as herself in the film Sex And The City 2, said: "I'd love it.

"I'm not attached [to the project], so I don't want to say that, but that would be very cool." US network CW, which also makes Gossip Girl, has ordered a pilot for a weekly series.

They have had their fair share of public spats but it seems that Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato are back to being best friends.

But while the pair's friendship might be back on track, Demi has admitted that they do still have 'brutal' fights because of their fiery personalities.

The 19-year-old singer explained her celebrity friendships in the latest issue of Seventeen magazine.

Demi revealed: Miley Cyrus and I are strong headed. When we fight it's brutal and we're like, “We're never going to be friends again!” Then two days later, were like, “I love you and I miss you!"’

In 2009 the pair enjoyed a very public spat on Twitter which started when Miley posted a snap of herself and Demi along with the message: ‘Now this is what true friendship looks like. None of that hollywood c***. @ddlovato I miss you :)’

But Lovato replied by saying: ‘Yeah... It's just kind of hard to miss somebody that I don't know anymore.’

The year before Cyrus posted a video on Youtube that mocked Lovato and their friend Selena Gomez but she quickly removed the video and apologised.

Despite their tumultuous past Demi has said that both Miley and Selena will always be part of her life.

She said: ‘Both [Miley and Selena] will never leave my life no matter what happens, because we've been through so much together.’

LatinoVoices reports that superstars Shakira and Miley Cyrus are teaming up for charity.

Shakira and Miley Cyrus are reportedly recording a song together which they will reveal on Valentine's Day, February 14, at a gala benefit for children with heart ailments.

The song, "Love and Rock", will serve to raise funds for this shared cause, with all proceeds going to charity.

Neither Shakira or Cyrus will include the song in their current or upcoming albums, with one of Shakira's representatives telling a Spanish-language Venezuelan newspaper that "This song is being done for charitable purposes, not commercial ones."

Miley Cyrus has waded in the recent controversy hitting fashion store Urban Outfitters. After words spread out that the company has ripped off one of an independent jewelry designer's necklace lines, the former star of "Hannah Montana" took to Twitter to speak out her opinion about the retailer.

"Love that everybody is hating on Urban Outfitters," the 18-year-old first tweeted. In a following post, she pointed out why she has no tolerance for the retailer. "Not only do they steal from artists but every time you give them money you help finance a campaign against gay equality. #SHADYASHELL," so she wrote.

The songstress, who will be seen starring opposite Demi Moore in "LOL: Laughing Out Loud", continued on to show her support for gay rights. " 'IF WE ALLOW GAY MARRIAGE NEXT THING U KNOW PEOPLE WILL BE MARRYING GOLD FISH' - Rick Santorum UO contributed $13,000 to this mans campaign," her tweet read.

Urban Outfitters was recently hit with accusation that the company has copied Stevie Koerner's necklace design. The independent artist wrote on her blog last Wednesday, May 25, "I'm very disappointed in Urban Outfitters. I know they have stolen designs from plenty of other artists. I understand that they are a business, but it's not cool to completely rip off an independent designer's work."

Her "Friday" video may have earned her 16 million views in a single week, but there's at least one person Rebecca Black hasn't won over just yet - Miley Cyrus.

The 18-year-old had this to say about the instant internet fame Black has experienced lately: "It should be harder to be an artist. You shouldn't just be able to put a song on YouTube and go on tour."

In fact, "The Climb" singer - who rose to fame on the Disney show Hannah Montana - isn't a fan of much of what the web has to offer. "I do not Tweet, I do not social network, I try to stay out of it," she said. "I complain enough about people knowing too much about my private life, so to go out there and exploit myself would be silly and hypocritical."

One personal detail Cyrus, who starts a tour in the land down under this summer, was willing to share? She's apparently seeing someone, as she revealed, "I don't want to cross out the Australian boys, but I may or may not be single," she said. "I'm definitely not coming to Australia single!"

Miley Cyrus is taking the party in the U.S.A. international. Following a nearly two-year break from full-scale concert touring, the Hannah Montana star is gearing up for an international tour, E! News has confirmed exclusively with Cyrus's rep.

The tour is set to begin in Quito, Ecuador, on April 29 at Estadio Olimpico Atahualpa (tickets will go on sale March 26), followed by a show in Lima, Peru, at Explanada del Monumental, on May 1, E! News has also confirmed. (Tickets for that show will go on sale March 23.)

"Miley has a huge fanbase worldwide," a tour source said. "She's pumped that her scheduled has opened up and allowed her to perform for fans abroad." And that's just the beginning.

Cyrus, who has already begun prep (including a workout regime) for the tour, will soon announce more overseas tour dates. As far as if she'll head back to North America to perform, a source says no dates are expected to be scheduled, because she wants to get out to her international fans who rarely get to see her live.

After attending the Grammy Awards and receiving a new leadership award, Miley Cyrus has taken a break from the music world to help the people of Haiti get back on their feet since the country is still struggling to recover from last year's earthquake.

In a report from The Hollywood Gossip, Miley Cyrus has stepped away from the spotlight to join the relief efforts in Haiti. Cyrus is currently in the earthquake ravaged country with the Sean Penn headed J/P Haitian Relief Organization.

Miley Cyrus wants to make fun of herself on "Saturday Night Live," and she will have lots of material to work with. Recently, Cyrus has had problems with her public image and her father, but she wants the world to see her as having a sense of humor.

Cyrus is now 18 years old and is planning on hosting "Saturday Night Live" on March 5. "The Miley Cyrus Show" on SNL stars Vanessa Bayer and is a big hit. The show is at its irreverent best, when it makes fun of people, and who better than Miley Cyrus to take pot shots at herself.

According to Hollywood Life, "An SNL source tells us Miley is now interested in participating in the show! 'Miley comes in for rehearsals next week which is when she will officially sign off on the ideas the writers present to her,' explains our insider. 'There have already been discussions about her interest in doing a skit with Vanessa parodying her. She is really looking forward to it.'"

Miley Cyrus is furious that her country singin' daddy, Billy Ray, sat down with GQ to bash the Disney show that made them mega-rich, as well as for his comments saying he's "scared" for his daughter's well-being. Now, I'm hearing that the 'Hannah Montana' star has signaled that she wants him to clam up and stop acting like another infamous stage dad.

"To say Miley is angry is an understatement," a friend of the Disney star tells me. "She's furious that her own flesh and blood would make a private matter so public. Who does he think he is, Michael Lohan?"

In GQ, Billy Ray said, "The damn show ['Hannah Montana'] destroyed my family" and he would "erase it all in a second if I could."

He also dipped into personal matters by claiming, "She's got a lot of people around her that's putting her in a great deal of danger. I know she's 18, but I still feel like as her daddy I'd like to try to help. Take care of her just a little bit, to at least get her out of danger."

While Miley hasn't commented publicly about the article, friends tell me the actress-singer is mystified, saying it's "unforgivable" that Billy Ray would randomly start biting the hand that fed him, as well as gab about his kid's personal life.

"This isn't what a father does," my source says. "He never said a bad world about 'Hannah Montana' all those years it made millions for the family, and now that Miley has turned 18 and is making her own decisions, he does this. Unforgivable."

There have also been rumblings that Miley and Billy Ray haven't actually spoken since December, before his interview for the GQ article. "Miley has told him that if he wants to talk with her he has her number," the friend reveals. "It's been the same number she always has had."

People is reporting that Cyrus will host SNL on March 5, putting her improv and comedic skills to the test. Now the real question is, will she go head-to-head with Vanessa Bayer on The Miley Cyrus Show, the recurring skit that mocks Miley and her dad Billy Ray?

Teen superstar Miley Cyrus has laughed off reports she's fallen for her new leading man Josh Bowman, insisting her So Undercover co-star is just a "really good friend".

The singer/actress sparked rumours of a new romance after she was snapped in the arms of Amy Winehouse's ex during a day out at a Los Angeles park at the weekend.

But the 18 year old has dismissed the gossip. She tells E! News, "I'm dating nobody! Listen, we were at the park sitting together. We're really good friends and he takes really good care of my dog."

Cyrus has been single since she split from Aussie hunk Liam Hemsworth in November, a year after meeting him on the set of their film The Last Song.

She’s no stranger to high profile industry events, and Miley Cyrus has been named as a presenter at the upcoming 53rd Annual Grammy Awards.

Earlier today, the Grammy presenters announced a new batch of celebrity presenters, and besides the “Hannah Montana” babe, Paramore, John Legend, Seth Rogen, and Neil Patrick Harris will also hand out trophies. Additionally, stars like Eminem, Arcade Fire, Miranda Lambert, Muse, and Cee Lo Green with Gwyneth Paltrow and the Jim Henson Company Puppets will all perform.

The 53rd Annual Grammy Awards will take place this Sunday night (February 13) at 8:00 PM Eastern Time on CBS.

The man who gloated about hacking Miley Cyrus' email account and circulating revealing pictures of the then-underage actress has been arrested on unrelated charges in Nashville.

According to a PopEater report, Josh Holly, 21, was arrested in Nashville last week on unrelated charges of possession of unauthorized credit card account numbers. FBI agents reportedly searched Holly's computer for evidence, prompting him to admit he was behind the hacking of Miley's personal accounts in 2007.

"Holly made numerous admissions during the interview," agents wrote in an affidavit. "He confirmed that he was the person who had obtained data from Miley Cyrus' MySpace account without authorization."

Holly was released from custody on Monday and is slated to appear at a preliminary hearing on Jan. 12.

Miley Cyrus is giving a special shout out to two special people for the Get Ur Good On campaign.

The 18-year-old actress shares in the video for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Breath of Life Gala, “I do want to give a shout out to Christina and Ali who performed ‘The Climb’ on America’s Got Talent. I was so honored that you sang my song and you did an incredible job, so congratulations.”

Miley continued, “I’m glad you found inspiration through my song. This is a song that can touch people’s lives in so many ways. You can make it about God, about a relationship, or something physical or mental…whatever is holding you back. I’m so glad that you didn’t let CF hold you back.”

Glad to see that somebody is defending Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato!

Selena Gomez believes that the public needs to cut the Disney Channel stars some slack."It's a very hard business and I feel like people don't really understand what we go through. We're kids. People make mistakes. People have to figure out what we like and don't like."

Selena Gomez does have a pont. We really don't know what kinds of pressures these Disney stars are under. On top of the normal stresses of being a teenager, every mistake and unflattering moment is out there for the world to scrutinize.

Although Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato no longer seem to be BFF, it's nice to see that they still care about each other.

Yesterday, Miley Cyrus and Zac Efron were spotted at a New Orleans Saints football game together with friends, sparking rumors that they are dating (or at least flirting). According to a ZackTaylor.ca source, "they have been randomly texting and innocently flirting a bit."

This is an interesting match. I would not have expected it because Zac Efron seems a bit more straight-edged than Cyrus, but they do look cute together!

It looks like he has moved on from Zanessa.

Miley Cyrus makes no bones about her admiration for Zac Efron. On her now defunct Twitter account, she once posted,"Me and mom are seriously sitting here staring at Zac Efron on Google images... Girls I totally get it! He is gorgeous!”

Miley Cyrus’ love interest in her new movie “So Undercover” has been announced. British actor Joshua Bowman will play the guy Miley falls for in the new film – and we wonder if she will fall for him in real life too, just like she did with her former co-star Liam Hemsworth while filming “The Last Song.”

It was also recently announced that Kelly Osbourne would be joining Miley in the movie as well.

I just want to say, I'm not gonna be posting anything from that on this site. This is a fansite dedicated to support Miley in every of her moves, wether it's right or wrong, wether we agree or not. It doesn't matter if I agree or don't with what she did, which I don't, but I respect her and I'm not gonna be posting that information in this FANsite.

And I want to say, all those fansites whose webmasters claim to be fans of Miley and posted the video, have lost all my respect. That's not being a fan, or supporting Miley, that's looking for hits, and in my most modest opinion, that's way too lame.

Microsoft opened its first retail store on its home turf Thursday morning to throngs of Miley Cyrus fans who lined up overnight for free concert tickets.

An estimated 1,000 people lined up for the opening at Bellevue Square mall. The store is giving out two free tickets to a Cyrus concert on Saturday to the first 2,000 people.

"It is just exciting as heck to have the seventh store open in our backyard," Microsoft Chief Executive Steve Ballmer said before he cut the ribbon on the store and a curtain dropped to show 50 cheering store workers. "All of our stores are special, but this is the store I'm going to be in and out of most often."

Ballmer shook hands with the first people to enter the store.

People started lining up Wednesday afternoon and waited in the parking garage overnight. People had sleeping bags, stadium fold-out chairs and were playing cards and napping on the ground as of 8 a.m. Microsoft brought in a DJ and the Massive Monkees dancers to entertain people in line, as well as the Skillet food truck to serve dinner and breakfast.

Crissy Allen started waiting Wednesday at 2 p.m. with her son and her service dog. She came to get concert tickets for her son. "I'm here because my son is in love with Miley Cyrus. He said the only reason they're not engaged is because she hasn't met him yet."
She bought an Xbox 360 video game and said the store was "awesome." "I like that there's so much space between aisles. Wheelchairs can get through, my dog can get through. It just looks uncluttered and classy."

Miley Cyrus will star as a private investigator in action-comedy So Undercover. The Hannah Montana actress has been cast as a young woman who is hired by the FBI to go undercover at a college sorority.

What Happens In Vegas director Tom Vaughan will helm the movie based on a script by Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps writer Allan Loeb and Steven Pearl.

Guy East and Nigel Sinclair's Exclusive Media Group are on board to produce and finance. Sinclair told Variety of the project: "There will be a touch of real danger when she goes undercover. We have a sharp, funny, accessible and commercial script from Allan and Steven that is a perfect match for her comic talents. We are also thrilled to have Tom Vaughan at the helm."

Cyrus next appears in LOL opposite Demi Moore and Ashley Greene.

Miley Cyrus takes a seat to chat more about her involvement with Blessings in a Backpack and to announce a new initiative started by actor and activist Rachel Helson.

Rachel posted on her tumblr about the project, “Our goal is to feed an additional thousand kids next year! It only takes $80 to feed a child through the program for an entire school year. So, starting November 1st I’ll start posting videos of schools that have benefited from this amazing program and you’ll get to hear directly from some of the kids who receive food, as well as from celebrities that have sponsored some of the schools across the country.”

Talking about the gig, Miss Cyrus told E! Online, “The video is unique and honestly, was a life-changing experience. This song means a lot to me.”

Miley Cyrus leans in for a kiss from Kevin Zegers in this new preview of the mysterious “Big Big Bang” music video.

EOnline dishes out more secrets surrounding the project, saying, “it appears as though Miley’s fate still doesn’t look too good. But at least she’ll get some steamy Kevin Zegers action before the big crash! That kind of makes up for a maybe, maybe-not fatal car crash, right?”

Singer-actress Miley Cyrus' parents Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish Cyrus have filed for divorce after 17 years of marriage.

They cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for separation in their papers filed Wednesday, reports eonline.com.

"As you can imagine, this is a very difficult time for our family. We are trying to work through some personal matters. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers," the couple said. Said a source close to the family: "It was a long time coming. It is the best thing for both of them."

The source also clarified that the split was not due to any third person, as reported in the press.

MTV announced today that Miley Cyrus will make her first appearance ever at this year's MTV EMAs, which are scheduled to take place in Madrid on November 7. The "Who Owns My Heart" songbird is nominated for awards in the Best Pop and Best Female categories.

In a press release announcing the appearance, Cyrus enthused, “I can’t wait for the EMAs! It will be my first performance on this amazing show and the people of Madrid are going to be the best audience ever!”

She’s been taking some time off as of late, and upon her return home Miley Cyrus made a video to catch her fans up on her life and set some rumors straight.

The “Can’t Be Tamed” songstress introduced everyone to her sister’s new dog “Feather” before launching into a discourse about erroneous claims made regarding her.

Cyrus noted that she is not living with her boyfriend, but rather still resides at her family’s home. She also said she’s not engaged.

And as for the rumors that she was pulled over for talking on her cell phone while driving, Miley explained, “I called the cops because the paparazzi made me nervous when I was driving. They started swerving and getting up in my face while I was trying to drive."

"They put the cameras in front of my car as I was trying to reverse. I was like, 'OK, do I keep driving? What do I do? If I hit them I'm in trouble, but if I don't go I sit here and just do a free photo shoot in front of all these people that I really don't want to pay their bills'... So I called the cops."
